WIMS Program Clerical/Case Manager (Akron/Remote)

Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Reports to: WIMS Program Administrator

Education/Experience: High School Graduate or GED
Microsoft Word, Access and Excel experience
Data processing and data entry experience
Understanding of and adherence to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FSLA) **essential to program
Understanding of Federal (TANF), (SNAP), (FAET), State/County participation and reporting requirements

Job Description:
Responsible for the completion of all clerical/case manager duties related to the operations of the program including but not limited to:

*Prepare memos, forms and reports as required

*Prepare participants case file documentation

*Assess participant needs and develop strategies to help in their transition toward self-sufficiency

*Maintain an open line of communication with participants

*Conduct orientation process with all participants

*Provide support and resources for participant with community resources to develop program outcomes

*Attend all required staff meetings

*Complete participant schedules based on SCJFS database information.

*Maintains all program orientation paperwork and supplies.

*All required paperwork and forms must be completed in a timely manner prescribed by SCJFS

*Track attendance and monitor accurate accounts of failed, unexcused, holiday and actual hours participated

*Enter attendance and general information regarding participants work participation into SCJFS computerized system

*Ensure all documents regarding participants’ assignments and sanctions are organized, legible and available upon request to SCJFS

*Demonstrates customer service skills when dealing with contract providers, SCJFS staff and participants

*Use JFS system as requested to help monitor and track participants

*Establish and maintain a positive rapport with participants

*Attend state hearings when deemed necessary

*Ensure participant is aware of consequences for non-compliance along with their rights & responsibilities regarding state hearings

*Record and file incident reports according to WIMS rules, policies and procedures

*Request participant sanction for non-cooperation and notify SCJFS within the designated time frame

*Review participants “good cause” criteria within the time frame designated by SCJFS

*While following site specific policies and procedures as well as Windfall Industries Policies and Procedures

Requirements:

*Must be able to pass background screening per DODD/Medicaid specifications.

*Maintain training as required by Windfall Industries, OSHA, etc.

*Additional training will be required as deemed necessary at the companies’ expense.
