About Us
Medina County Sheltered Industries, dba, Windfall Industries is a 501c(3) non-profit organization, located in Wadsworth, Ohio. Founded in 1963, Windfall Industries currently provides facility-based and community-based services to individuals with developmental disabilities located in Medina, Summit, and Wayne Counties.
Windfall Industries’ mission is to create and maintain a business that provides high-quality services and products to customers while providing comprehensive training, career growth, job placement, and other vocational opportunities for individuals with disabilities and workers with disadvantages, to improve the quality of their personal life and occupational abilities.
Windfall Industries is a waiver service provider for Medicaid. We currently provide facility-based and community-based training programs to individuals as a provider for the Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities, the Summit County Board of Developmental Disabilities, and the Wayne County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Additionally, Windfall provides community-based, vocational training to local high schools.
